A PLACE TO LEARN, SPEAK UP AND BE HEARD.
Voice FM is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run station serving Southampton and the surrounding area from the YMCA Youth and Community Centre on Graham Road.
Its purpose is to create a safe, inclusive place where people from every background can build media skills, grow in confidence and take their next step.
The schedule spans music, culture, business, sport, local news and specialist conversation—made by people who live and work in the city.

THE STUDIO NEEDS ITS NEXT CHAPTER.
Some of the main equipment is older than the station itself. Voice FM is raising £20,000 to create a more accessible, reliable and future-ready home for local radio.
- Accessible desks and a more comfortable studio for wheelchair users
- New mixing desks, microphones, stands and stronger broadcast equipment
- Better sound treatment and easier video-podcast recording

Every Friday, Natalie brings founders, engineers and leaders into this community studio. Before and after that hour, dozens of other presenters fill the same microphones with music, debate, culture, sport and stories from across the city.
